Take the D or the Q to the Prospect Park Station. The zoo is located near the Lefferts Homestead, in the park, just a short distance from the station.
From Manhattan via the Manhattan Bridge:
Cross the Manhattan Bridge straight into Flatbush Avenue. Continue on Flatbush Avenue into the Grand Army traffic circle. Drive halfway around the circle and continue on Flatbush Avenue South. The zoo is located on that stretch of Flatbush Avenue, across from the Botanical Gardens. Look for parking.
From Manhattan via the Brooklyn Bridge:
Cross the Brooklyn Bridge to Adams Street. Take Adams street to Atlantic Avenue turn left on Atlantic Avenue. Take Atlantic Avenue to Flatbush Avenue. Turn right on Flatbush Avenue. Continue on Flatbush Avenue into the Grand Army traffic circle. Drive halfway around the circle and continue on Flatbush Avenue South. The zoo is located on that stretch of Flatbush Avenue, across from the Botanical Gardens. Look for parking.
